I've been involved with animal rescue groups and animal shelters for the last 25 years and thus have vast knowledge of what makes veterinarian care rate 5 stars. Dr Nelson is an extraordinarily talented, no-nonsense and empathic man. He rails continuously against others in his field who are driven more by profits than animal welfare. Dr Nelson will NEVER charge you for something your pet doesn't need and if there is an OTC medicine or ointment that he knows will work just as well on your pet, he'll direct you to the nearest drug store rather than needlessly spend your money at his office. While other vet offices are becoming incorporated (translation: even more expensive), Dr Nelson stays with his tried and true love of animals. I've travelled all over American and Dr Nelson is by FAR the most talented, knowledgeable and truly honest vet I've ever known.
