The day before Valentine's Day I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife at her place of employment (school) on Valentine's Day. After specifically questioning the staff member I was talking to on the phone, I was assured the flowers would be delivered in the morning. However, when my wife returned home that evening, she had not received the flowers. I called Geri D's, (had to call several times to get an answer from them) and was told that "the delivery truck had broken down, and by the time the delivery person had gotten to my wife's school, the school was closed." Well the school doesn't close until about 5 pm, so that was the first crock of you-know-what. Then I asked why they didn't call me or my wife when this happened. So they said, "Well, there was an accident down the street so our power was knocked out and the phones." DUH! You mean you don't have a CELL PHONE? You mean you didn't think that the first thing you should do would be to contact the client the very next day?
I went to Maria's today to purchase a gift for my neighbor who lost her husband. I was very pleased with the service I received from the gentleman working up front. He helped me pick out a beautiful angel planter filled with houseplants. He added yellow roses to the planter. When I brought it over to my neighbor I didn't realize that she collected angels! I think I must have met one today! Thank you Maria's. Good job!
TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER. Gave my personal information out over the phone to a caller who WAS not the recipient of the flowers. Was rude and Unapologetic for sharing information I asked to be kept Confidential with a caller over the phone-Could have been anyone calling. SHAME one Geri D's.
This place is jaw-droppingly the worst example of customer service I've experienced in many a year. . .
Maria did my wedding this pass August and I can't say she did anything wrong everything was perfect and on time. She did an excellent job on my flowers which I feel made the reception hall look beautiful. I told her I wanted to fall in love with my flowers and she made sure I did that. Her prices weren't bad for everything she gave me. Her focus was to make sure I was satisfied. Thank you Maria
